About the role
We’re hiring automotive technicians at all skill levels across our 10 Midas shops in Wayne, Oakland and Washtenaw counties. Whether you’re just getting started or you’ve been turning wrenches for twenty years, there’s a bay and a pay path here for you.
What you’ll do
- Perform oil changes, tire service, brake repair, alignments, suspension and exhaust work
- Diagnose vehicle issues and clearly document what you find
- Complete multi-point courtesy inspections on every vehicle
- Work alongside service advisors so customers understand what their car needs
- Keep your bay, tools and work area safe and organised
What we’re looking for
- A real interest in cars and a willingness to learn — entry level is welcome
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work on your feet in a busy shop environment
- Your own basic hand tools are helpful but not required to apply
- ASE certifications are a plus and we’ll support you in earning more
Pay & benefits
Strong base pay plus high commission on sales and services — your effort shows up in your paycheck. Full-time team members also get health insurance options for themselves and their family, paid vacation, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
