About the role
Our service advisors are the first person a customer meets and the reason they come back. We’re hiring advisors across our 10 Midas shops in Southeast Michigan — strong base pay plus commission on services sold.
What you’ll do
- Greet customers, listen to their concerns and write up accurate repair orders
- Translate technical findings into plain language customers actually understand
- Build written estimates and get approval before any work starts
- Keep customers updated on timing and coordinate with the technicians
- Follow up after service to make sure people leave happy
- Recommend the right tires, parts and service packages — and close on those recommendations. Selling is a real part of this job.
What we’re looking for
- Strong communication skills and genuine patience with people
- Customer service, retail, or automotive experience helps — but we’ll train the right person
- Comfort with computers and shop management software
- Valid driver’s license
- Automotive knowledge is a plus, not a requirement
- Strong sales ability — you’re comfortable presenting a repair plan and asking for the business
Pay & benefits
